Christmas Common Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
Sitting at one of the highest points of the Chilterns AONB, visitors to this picturesque area can explore 3 distinct gardens, each offering their own charm and character. Priors Grove Cottage: Over ½ an acre and bordered by woodland, this 6 yr old garden is focussed around a large wildlife pond and waterfall. Koi Carp are separated from the surrounding wildlife by an island with planting. A formal lily pond can be found on the terrace. A mixture of shrubs and herbaceous plants ensure vibrant displays throughout the year. Meadow Cottage: Enchanting 1¾ acre garden adjoins ancient woodlands and inc a wildflower garden, tranquil pond, fruit trees, and a variety of shrubs. The garden has indigenous trees and features a historic C17 barn (not open).
