Broughton Village Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
Three village gardens of different sizes and character. Lychgate Cottage is a secluded cottage garden, developed over the last 10 years from an existing framework. Inc herbaceous borders, vegetable patch, pond area, orchard, stumpery, wildflower meadow and plenty of untidy corners for the wildlife. The Briars is a mature cottage garden with a backdrop of open countryside. Mixed borders of roses, perennials and grasses surround interesting seating areas. Designed and built entirely from scratch over 25 years. Magnolia Cottage was a scruffy chicken run in 2010. Now a sheltered, lush cottage garden with a difference, inc many traditional plants and a surprising array of exotics with a backdrop of interesting trees.

Check website for latest information. Sun 6 July (11-6). Combined adm £6, Children free. Tea, coffee & cake in Broughton Village Hall. WC are located in the village hall. Payments for refreshments will be cash only. Times:11:00 to 18:00.
