Barlborough is an ancient village, steeped in history, perched on the top of yellow limestone scarp in the furthest North East corner of Derbyshire. The July weekend garden opening coincides with the 'Big Barlborough Festival' with lots of additional exhibitions and activities taking place. St James The Greater Church, an ancient place of worship will be open to visitors both afternoons of the July opening weekend. Six colourful gardens of different sizes and styles will be opening their garden gates. A map detailing the location of all six gardens, plus a community garden, will be issued with adm ticket.
