Slatelands House - Open Garden for NGS

Victorian mill-owner's residence built on rising ground. Steepest slope from road to house level is terraced stone retaining ilex balls, wild grasses with geraniums flowing down between. Rear slopes comprise stone walls, terraced beds, paths between, lawns, patio and a classic Derbyshire waterfall. Rich plantings bring a warmth of colour whilst seated and admiring the hills.
