Walhampton - Open Garden for NGS
Glorious walks through large C18 landscape garden surrounding magnificent mansion (now a school). Visitors will discover three lakes, serpentine canal, climbable prospect mount, period former banana house and later an orangery, plantsmans glade and Italian terrace by Peto. Drives and colonnade by Mawson, delightful statue of Mercury with his bow and magnificent views to the Isle of Wight.
