HMP Thorn Cross - Open Garden for NGS
HMP Thorn Cross is an open prison with large sprawling grounds which we are delighted to open for the enjoyment of the public. We have an impressive range of biodiversity inc beehives, ducks, newts, birds and more! We are extremely proud of our award-winning landscape, carefully maintained by the prisoners and look forward to welcoming visitors for a unique and once in a lifetime experience. Please park in the prison car park and walk to the Farm Shop where you will be met by a member of staff and taken on a tour of the grounds. Please be there for 10am and wear suitable footwear depending on the weather conditions on the day.
