Highfield - Open Garden for NGS
An informal garden set in the context of a North Yorkshire racing yard, Highfield Stables. The simple south facing garden is in 3 parts, terrace with borders near the house, then oval lawn surrounded by eccentrically planted trees and shrubs. In the distance, an old wild orchard with mown pathways, leading to fields with horses. Rose tunnel leads to vegetable garden and further young orchard.
