Cavalleria Rusticana and Pagliacci performed by Rose Opera
Rose Opera presents a fully-staged production of the classic Italian opera double bill of Cavalleria Rusticana and Pagliacci at the beautiful Normansfield Theatre in Teddington. These two short operas, with their combination of gorgeous music (including the Easter Hymn and Intermezzo) and gritty themes, revolutionised the genre. There are four shows across two weekends at the end of May and beginning of June. Both operas will be sung in Italian (with subtitles) and accompanied by orchestra.
