Cromer Crab & Lobster Festival celebrates this year with the theme of a nautical Chest, these form this year’s art trail, running from April through to the Grand Auction on Sunday 31st August at the pier forecourt.
59 local businesses have purchased wooden chests that have been, loving made and crafted from upcycled materials by the Cromer charity – About with Friends.
About with friends partnered with the Cromer Crab & Lobster Festival from the start, back in 2012. This allows their members the opportunity to use their skills and at the same time learn new ones and is a great way for them to be at the very heart of this fantastic community event.
Each business is encouraged to decorate their treasure chest, and in the past both staff, customers and local artists have assisted in creating wonderful works of art.
Throughout the last 13 years the Art Trail themes have ranged from, portholes, ships wheels, lamps, boats and beach deck chairs – just to mention a few.
New for this year we ask you to vote for your favourite treasure chest, details on how to do this are on display within each of the supporting businesses and these can be found within this year’s art trail leaflet and on our social platforms or via www.cromercrabandlobster.co.uk
