There will be a flower festival in church, the subject being songs with colours in them and an exhibition of paintings by local artists. Also, we are lucky to be exhibiting some paintings by Melissa Speed, who has been doing portraits of some unsung heroes of Derbyshire. Melissa took part in Sky Arts’ programme, “Portrait Artist of the Year”. Along with the paintings, there will be a photographic exhibition and also a woodwork one. Refreshments will be available..
