Hertford Choral Society

Founded in 1938, we are a friendly community choir of mixed ages with over 100 singers (soprano, alto, tenor and bass) bringing top quality music to Hertford.

We rehearse on Tuesday evenings at Sele School in Hertford, accompanied by Charlie Penn, in preparation for four concerts each year. Professional orchestras and soloists of the highest calibre are a feature of each concert. As well as the major choral works in the repertoire, we also
feature a wide range of music - Beatles to Bach, folk to Fauré, Mozart to modern - usually in All Saints’ Church, Hertford.
