The Hearth Arts Centre and Cafe

Situated in a 17th-Century Manse attached to a Victorian Gothic Revival Church, the Arts Centre is a vibrant hub of creativity and a place that supports the Arts, Heritage, and Culture. It features working artist studios, a popular Café, and event spaces available for hire.

10 miles from Newcastle upon Tyne & Hexham, in the picturesque Tyne Valley and close to Hadrians Wall. The Hearth still incorporates many original architectural features from the sixteenth century. These can be seen in the wattle and daub walls making up the main corridor to the Café & in the fireplace and adjoining window in the Piper Room.
