The Society is a group dedicated to promoting the Art of Bonsai in and around the Chilterns. As a group we have members with more than 40 years of practical experience available to help those with less experience. In particular we encourage hands on work to develop everyone's skills in producing and appreciating Bonsai.
Originally the High Wycombe Bonsai Society, the current name was adopted to reflect the area our members come from: Marlow and Maidenhead in the South, Gerrards Cross and Beaconsfield to the East, and Aylesbury to the North.
We hold our own annual Exhibition in one of a variety of places in the Chilterns and participate with other Societies further afield.
In addition to club workshops, we also visit Bonsai teachers and specialist nurseries for trees, pots, soils and tools for the best available supplies.
We now meet monthly on the second Monday at the original time of 7.30pm at Booker Memorial Hall on the south of the Town of High Wycombe.
