The Nightingale provides the vital additional support so often needed by those affected by cancer.

We work alongside the clinical services of the NHS to assist people to live with and beyond the disease. So often it is not just the patient who suffers from a cancer diagnosis - it’s their family, friends and even their work colleagues. We support them all and give our services free of charge.

We offer our clients not just advice and information but, more importantly, the ongoing emotional and practical support crucial in helping them face their changed lives.

The Nightingale is proud of the professional services it provides. We don’t just offer ‘tea and sympathy’, we offer a tailor made, diverse range of activities in a safe place which provide
tangible benefits to the well-being of our clients.

These range from complementary therapies to educational workshops, all delivered by trained professionals.
