About this Event

Egerton to Liverton Street Walk

On Sunday 9th March, we’ll be setting off as a group from the charming village of Egerton . Our route takes us past the beautiful St. James's Church, famous for its stunning stained-glass windows, before heading along the scenic Greensand Way .
Together, we’ll explore orchards , farmland , and peaceful woodlands , soaking in breathtaking views across the Weald of Kent. We’ll visit the tranquil hamlet of Liverton Street before completing our loop back to Egerton. It’s the perfect way to enjoy fresh air, good company, and Kent’s natural beauty!

The walk starts promptly on time. If you're running a bit behind schedule, give us a call to inform us (you'll find our number on your booking confirmation if you've booked through the website, or message Ian Henderson via MeetUp).

Friendly dogs are welcome! Please ensure they're leashed when needed, especially around fields with livestock. Owners are always fully responsible for their dogs.

Before hitting the trail, make sure to pack:
A - Suitable footwear (preferably walking boots or sturdy shoes, no flip-flops)
? B - A waterproof coat (and waterproof trousers, if you have them) for rainy days
C - Drinking water and a packed lunch
D - Personal medication (Let us know confidentially about any medical conditions)
